Hi all,

I am smitha. I would like to learn acoustic guitar and have some basic questions. Please throw your opinions.

After some searching on google I found "Yamaha FG700S Folk Acoustic Guitar" as the best beginner guitar, let me know your thoughts on this. I m trying self-learning, are there good books on Teach yourself?

Thanks all for your time.

regards

buy your own damn guitar. A really nice one, because if you buy a **** yamaha. you'll never get your money back if you decide to keep playing. Get something nice that can retain value so if you really dont want to play, you can resell for what you paid.

Welcome to Ultimate Guitar.

I don't really know much about acoustic guitars, so I can't help with that question. You probably shouldn't worry about buying books though. There are a lot of great places on the internet for FREE lessons that are good.

You should look into this site's lessons first of all (there are probably 200+ of them). You should also check into some video lessons at youtube.

However, one of the best sites for learning is justinguitar.com

Good Luck!
