i need to back up my itunes. i just hit 4,500 songs and i dont want to lose them. should i burn them to a cd? that would be alot of cds so i dont really wnt to go down that road. plus i dont want to lose quality of the sound. what should i do? buy an exturnal hardrive? would one of those memory sticks hold the songs? i have about 40 gigs of music

I got mine for about $100.

Easily fits my 120 gigs of music, so with 40 gigs, TS, you should be all set and then some.

You can get iTunes to back up your library for you.

It does it as a data disc, so you fit a LOT more music on. I did this when I changed computer and got about 18GB on music on 4 DVD-RWs.

depends how big it is you can get them for under 100 pounds easilys maybe 75? i dunno
