in my guitar

when i pick the 1-2-3 fret

in the G string

the sound is like an empty can

what do you think about this?
#4
sounds like fret buzz to me. Look up how to set up your action and truss rod, or take it to a guitar tech.
#5
try changing your strings. If it persists take it to a proffesional tech.

That sometimes happens when the string gets old and starts to fall apart.

Either that or fret buzz. Try raising the action on that string a little bit, should make the world of difference.

they are the strings when i bought my guitar....

Change them

I had a problem similar to yours, a change of strings solved it.

If those are your stock strings, there is no telling how old they are.

When did you buy your guitar?
#13
A little bit more information would be nice, small details like...what kind of guitar is it?

that won't affect the tune and intonation of my guitar right?

so will it be better if i'll raise the action in all strings?
#21
It will untune your guitar, and it'd definitely be a good idea to slacken/loosen the strings if you're going to raise the action.
