yah i know i need to replace them eventually, but i just got it and it sounds muddy in the neutral and and rhythm position do i need to change the hieght of the pup? if so how hi or low? thanks in advance i do wanna use my other postions other than treble on my guitar...

Probaby, but not.

If it's sounding muddy then lowering the pickup may improve matters, but raising it will definitely make it worse. Bear in mind that the middle and neck positions will sound a lot fuller and bassier than the bridge positions, just make sure you're not confusing muddiness with the natural tonal differences.
