How do i get the tone for the sweet child o mine verses ? I got a nice tone for the intro, but when i come to the verse it doesnt sound right..
i switch from neck to bridge when it starts but still no go

Back of the reverb slash uses marshall amp wich has a footswitch with the reverb on off button that;s how he does it don't think you have that

i have reverb on my pedal,
so thats the only thing he does to change it?

yes and he goes to his clean channel wich may have different eq ing

neck pickup on full volume with the tone backed off a bit for the lead parts, bridge pickup with the volume backed off a bit for the chords.

You really don't need to change channels, if your amp has a "crunch" setting you can use that, if it's just a single distortion channel then just pick a little lighter.
