Hey UG'ers.

I have been playing guitar for 3 comming to 4 years now.

Always had relied on UG.

anyways.

I have never really owned a Chromatic tuner.

i was wondering whats the diffrence between £11.00 Chromatic tuner and a tuner which cost £23.00 tuner? apart from the moneY?

thanks.

Also on the second note.

Korg Chromatic Tuner CA-30 with this tuner can i tune my guitar to drop F tunning thanks.

think of tuners like magnifying glasses.

the cheap ones still let you see closer... but its kinda foggy.

the expensive ones make it clearer.

honestly... i say do like me and buy a tuner that fits into your pedalboard. then you can tune up whenever you play.

as long as the pedal can pick up a frequency, it'll register. if you can't get it on the open note, make sure your intonation's decent and play your first (12th fret) harmonic. should work. if not, buy one that can register bass guitar frequencies (i know korg makes one) and use that.
