wat? well i know the nokia takes micro sd cards, but would an 8gb one be incompatible because its so big?

It should work, but it might become slow, that's what happened to my nokia 6600, I put a 1 GB memory card and it became really slow.

not everything that will take an SD card will take and SDHC card, same goes for Micro or Mini SD. it may work, but it might not recognise anything past 4Gb for example

Incorrect, not everything that takes a microSD card will be able to take a MicroSDHC. ( Which is > 4GB)
