I'm thinking of getting an overdrive pedal....but I already have a distortion and wah pedal. Could there be anyway to get my distortion (for guitar) to have a overdrive sound?

I'm trying to get the "Heartbreaker" sound
w/o bass n drums, there wouldn't really be rock music.

Schecter is pronounced 'Shek-ter', right? I don't want to walk in and say, "Hey, can I try out that Sketcher?" and have the helper reply with "Wtf, we don't sell shoes!"

JPJ uses an overdrive on Heartbreaker? HOLY ZEPPELIN!
I always thought he just does them powerchords with a pick...

Anyways, I'm not sure if you can recreate the galloping overdrive bassy tone with a distortion... Distortion is more fuzzy. Overdrive GROWLS.

Yeah, but it the Beatles Tab book it says the bass slides in She's So Heavy are just dead notes. Point is that you can't trust even the official tab books. Trust your ear.

There may be a little bit of growl going on. Get a Fulltone Bass Drive.
