okay, so i'm looking at the peavey 6505, but it comes in both a 2x12 combo and stack form. which should i get? i can definitely afford both so price is no problem, but i don't know which one to get.

i'm planning on playing medium to semi-large sized and outside gigs. i've heard that combos are smaller, generally get less sound, but are easier to carry and take up less room, while stacks are heavier, take up more room, but get better, fuller sound. I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS ALL 100% TRUE!!

please help me decide.

Define large sized please. But more likely then not, you'll want the combo.

I like a head and a 212 cabinet easier to carry. Head in one hand cab in the other.

The difference in sound is only going to be 3 decibels more and a bit more bass with the 100 watt head a 4x12 stack if that means anything to you.

That being said if you can afford it I would get the head and a nice 2x12 cab as this will give you more options for head in the future and still have a decent size rig. Also I've heard that tonally the heads sound a bit better than the combos.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not
