the list goes on and on and on

pretty much all modern pop punk is influenced by hardcore

The Fall of Troy>Four Year Strong

I dont know if they're really hardcore, but Doppelganger is pretty poppy.

First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

I want an amp good for playing hippie tunes. I want it to be an actual amp, not a tube amp.

Are their any bands that could be considered pop punk and deathcore? Just like heavier heavy parts than A Day to Remember?
CALIBRATE THE VIRUS

i kinda wish we all had a penis and vagina instead of buttholes

i mean no offense to buttholes and poop or anything

Rest in Peace, Troy Davis and Trayvon Martin and Jordan Davis and Eric Garner and Mike Brown

Surprised nobody mentioned Civ. Set Your Goals (not the band) is one of the best pop-punk albums I've heard.
#27
Here's some awesome just plain old pop-punk, too:

The Ergs!
For Science
The Lawrence Arms
Dillinger Four
Teenage Bottlerocket

how is it? its cheesy pop punk one minute then hardcore chugs the next,

id call stuff like lifetime melodic hardcore, fast and melodic

the drumming, the guitar riffs, most of the vocals

its melodic hardcore

4 year strong and a day to remember sucks.
a day to remember is just silverstein-ish pop-rock with screaming and breakdowns, where do you get pop punk
#39
i agree with the people that said a day to remember is meh

k my summary so far..

bands mentioned that i knew before but i think are badass:

set your goals
the wonder years
daggermouth
lifetime
(old) saves the day
shook ones

bands mentioned that i didn't know before but i checked out and am digging:

timeless
i call fives
me vs hero
this time next year
bangarang
fight fair (although those t-pain style electronically enhanced vocals they sometimes use are annoying as ****)

four year strong: still the best

recommend me more moshy/double bass stuff!!
