I heard people say that the omen is better even tho the damien has emgs pickups

I had the same dilemma some time ago, but i ended up going with the Omen 7 mostly because passive EMGs are horrible and an upgrade was still necessary so it was better to save those 100 bucks for the pickup change. Plus the Glossy finish looked better than the Satin one, but that's just taste i guess

I love how diverse it is. You have the ability to switch the pickups into a single coil behaviour, by pulling on the tone knob. The guitar is pretty great for every style of playing.

Those 2 guitars are pretty much even. Just save a little more and get a Schecter XXX C-1. Mahogany body and a Seymour Duncan JB/'59 combo.

I chose the damien over the omen, didn't try the the other but I'm certainly happy with my purchase

I grabed the OMEN very happywith it loveit neck feels so smooth no other guitar felt this right for me
