hey Guys,

I don't reallly have much oif a budget but rather spend less that £800.
I play mostly classic rock, blues, and metal (like Metallica metal not Slayer type metal) and fingure picking and just classical music like Classical Gas (well i am learning that).

lol.

I have been playing for three comming up to 4 years now.

I am also purchasssing a VOXAD30VT along with this new guitar.

Thanks.

I really need something with a locking trem.

I have looked into Ibanez and ESP LTD so yeah.

Ibanez RG1570, Prestige line, so its very good quality, edge pro is one of the best floyds you'll get, and its only £500, then you can add money and get a nice tube amp

(like Metallica metal not Slayer type metal)

So you mean 90's Metallica?

And I say go for a Gibson SG... as much as I dislike Gibsons I have to recommend that to you. Pretty versatile and would be great for blues and classic rock and even the type of metal that you're talking about!

There are 2 things why i dont believe you.
First thing: You type like a 10 year old
Second thing: in 1978 there were no gibson les paul studio's

What about a schecter C1 classic, or if you REALLY have to have EMG's, Hellraiser? Or an LTD 1000 series?
Or maybe you find an ESP horizon second hand for that price...

Get an S series Ibanez (£300-£400).

Get a better amp. Peavey windsor maybe (I've seen head + 2x12 cab with celestions V30 for a total of £370 http://www.thomann.de/gb/peavey_windsor_head_212_bundle.htm ).

Or you can get a Marshall JCM (Used 800 if lucky? DSL combo?) for £300-£400

You'll have a great rig. Great Guitar, Great amp. You'd be set for life.
