Was wondering, which do you guys prefer? The Gibson/Epiphone SG bass or the ESP bass, from a design/aesthetic perspective?

It's not, it's just cool to lol for no reason.

I like the viper more than the SG, I think the Epi/Gibson SG basses don't look right.

How do you physically download an album? Like run your computer off a dynamo on an exercise bike?

I personally like the Viper better, but regardless of this, the Viper will be the better bass by far. Not a lot is as bad as an SG bass.

SG looks great on guitar, but like ass on bass. Viper looks okay on guitar, passable on bass.

I voted Viper.

Where's the "Use an eye wash station filled with hydrochloric acid" option?

I think that comes under SG bass.

The Viper looks the least badly designed. I love SG guitars, but the shape is all wrong for bass.

viper basses look more fresh, like someone tweaked the old classic. I'd prefer a good old j-bass shape over either of them.

i realy like the viper alot. the SG looks just out of place. like it wouldent blend in at all with any other instuments. the viper stands out and fits in at the same time

The SG still looks better than a Viper as a bass, but I still wouldn't get either one as a bass.

The SG LOOKS great IMO, its just from what I heard it doesn't play as well as it looks..
The Viper shape just looks wrong, you don't offset an SG shape, itmakesnosense.

Yeah man, I totally agree about the Viper. Anymore room behind that flame shield?

I like sexy offset waists.

Viper's one of them.
I don't know what I'm doing, but I still do it anyway...

Just for the lulz.

SG guitars are notorious for the headstock diving towards the floor, I can't imagine how badly the neck would dive on an SG bass.

My eye demands symmetry so its the SG for me.

I hate pointy basses, but this takes the cake. that bass alone turned me off from Kiss, so stupidly gaudy. I don't mind the music but ugh, that thing is worse than the makeup.

Headstock on the SG bass just looks horrible, in my opinion.

I think it's the large fender-like tuners that make it look bad.(Don't get me wrong, Fender bass tuners look great on fenders) The tuners just don't suit the Gibson headstock, which IMO is the most beautiful headstock.

EDIT: Viper looks way worse than the SG. You just don't offset the SG bodystyle. The Viper looks like a Jazz bass and SG bass fused together.
