I read that too. Makes me sad.

RIP Bo. Your shave and a haircut memories are worth a lot more than two bits.

that's like saying you might wanna try out this guitar but I just wanna warn you the action blows and it sounds like a bunch morons trying to screw a door knob

You're okay bro. I'm only 19, and American for Christ's sakes...but I know who the great Bo Diddley was. It's sad that he passed. As he said, about touring at his age, he quoted, "Seventy is just a damn number. Everyday I turn out new things."

On a side note, TS, love the username. I'd kill to be under you.

That's unfortunate. But...he was able to hang around after a heart attack and a stroke. He lived to 79...good full life.

Rest in peace, Bo
Oh no he just divided by zero again...*gets sucked into vortex*

RIP Bo Diddley - Legend of Guitar
Yeah, now you're gonna die wearing that stupid little hat. How does it feel?

Help me to live.

I make custom guitar wiring harnesses and I'm pretty damn good at it!

Good point. I had just found a nice B&W pic of him to add to my heroes slide show on my page. I had a few friends send me messages like "Who's the guy with the square guitar?"

On another note I gotta get to B.B. Kings, I've yet to go. Was gonna go to Les Paul's 93 because I live in NYC but that $75 ticket plus $25 food or drink minimum is money that I'd rather put towards another guitar.

Gotta try and meet these legends.

The man lived a full and interesting life.

It's pretty Amazing that he kept performing live right up until the end.

There's another thread on this. And since I like Jackal58 more than you, his stays open.
