I found one on craigslist for 150. He claims it is better than a MIM strat, and mim strats sell for 500. What do you guys think, should i move on this?

Their OLD, MIJ stuff was REALLY good. Their current stuff is junk for the most part.

aria's are great starter guitars. And this guy must be tone deff if he says it sounds like a fender Mim Strat.

The only thing I know about aria is that my ex girlfriend had an aria semi - hollow.

Didn't think they had that many models in circulation.

But regardless, the MIM is gonna be better, by far. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

but still, MIM > MIA

I dunno much about the Aria Strat but my mates dad bought an Aria Tele and it sounds excellent for a replica, but its just not having the word Fender on the headstock which makes them not so popular

Says its brand new, so i doubt its mij. So aria is just a knock off and im better off paying the extra 75 to get a mim strat. Well, thanks 4 the tips guys, i think i will have me a new guitar within the next month. Check this one out:

I think the gold is a little too much, but pickguards aren't expensive, easy swap. Should i move on THIS?

I dunno, I have a modded aria telecaster, a modded aria superstrat and an aria pro-II semihollow that all sound and play better than most of the crap i've tried from major brands. That being said, I have changed the pickups in all of them and tweaked them for hours.

Hahaha, that gold is really awful looking!

If that doesn't bother you, or you can swap them out, go for it. MIM's are a great deal.
