Because it could be a serious answer. What if someone was to make a thread "A song to tell my girlfriend that I caught a nasty STD off her best friend?" We'd all be screwed then.

Country... I haven't listened to it much since then but I am starting to get back into it(thanks to Corey Smith). Not bad musicians a lot of them, most just don't write their own songs.

this is the song that never ends,
yes it goes on and on my friends.
some people started singing it,
not knowing what it was,
and theyll continue singing it forever just because,
this is the song that never ends,
yes it goes on and on my friends....

i had that in my head for the first twelve or so years of my life, then i got hit in the head with a steam shovel, and i dont have to think about it anymore!

...
I have no opinion on this matter.

Various open string patterns that weren't in tune...

My parents had classic rock like Styx ELO and opera on... so that's what I listened to.

I used to love Sum 41 (All Killer No Filler album specifically), Blink 182, and then I started listening to crappy mainstream rap which I'm terribly ashamed of *represses painful memories of so called "music"*

Nsync, Backstreet Boys, and Linkin Park for the most part.
“Just to sum up: I would do various things very quickly.” - Donald Trump

Earliest: Chinese traditional pop (it pwns)
Then: Backstreet Boys/Nysync (tr00 kvlt m3tt13)
Then: rap and modern rock (pop radio music basically)

...modes and scales are still useless.

When I was a real little kid, I liked my dad's Joe Satriani cd. But when I got older, and was in elementary school, I was into all the normal radio stuff.

N'snyc and the Backstreet Boys. I was like 5. Then when I was 6 I saw the All the Small Things video when it premiered, on TRL, and I was hooked. I still like blink a lot actually. I just like other bands as well.

I was brought up on The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Meatloaf... that kinda stuff, and I still love it.

I refuse to be embarrased by what music I do and have loked and listened to. I still enjoy listening to old Linkin Park and Korn, the "gateway" bands from when I was younger into heavier music. I don't like "growing out of" or discarding music.

Without BSB and NSync, we would not have Necrophagist.

Well, Muhammed heard the brutal riffaging of Backstreet Boys' beats and the unmatched gory vocals headed by Justin Timberlake from NSync and was inspired to do the same. Duh, everyone knows that.

If the song Backstreet's Back was a guitar song as opposed to keyboards, it would make a great rock song.

That would be metal overload. No one could listen to that without their exploding.
