So I recently purchased Pro Tools and the Firewire Solo interface (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/MAudio-FireWire-Solo-Mobile-Audio-Interface?sku=701364)

For the past 4 years, i've been using Cubase LE and various firewire mixers. Right now I'm using a Phonic 18 Firewire mkII (http://www.zzounds.com/item--PHOHELIX18FWMKII).

What I want to know is if and how I can do a daisy-chain between these two devices and be able to send the 18 seperate channels form the Phonic to Pro Tools, using the M-Audio interface as sort of a mediator thing.

My main problem with Pro Tools is that their interfaces are more expensive and not as good as non-Pro Tools interfaces. But if I could use the Phonic with Pro Tools I'd be a happy camper.

Please help! Thanks :-D
you cant. you can only use M-Audio or Digidesign interfaces with pro tools M-powered or LE.
Protools won't work with any other audio interfaces.
God that is so lame! It won't even work if I've got the M-Audio one in the chain too?

Well thanks.
