now i need new pups for my S470
i play every kind of metal. i need pups with a clear sound with drop tunings, good cleans are not essential but would be a bonus.
im thinking about:
1.seymour duncan blackouts
2.Dimarzio D activators
3.EMG?

help very much appreciated

Out of those I have only used the EMGs but with there quick change feature they are a good choice. Alot of people bash on them but even more people use them. Not the ultimate I'm sure but very good. Alot of different combinations also.

Maybe in your next post you should say Naked girls or check this s#@t out, It seems they get more responses any more. Good Luck

Given the shocking price of gear in Australasia it's not remotely worth your while considering a pickup swap, it's going to make very little, if any, difference.

You're better off spending your money on pedals.
Actually called Mark!

my local music store matches online prices so cost isnt a worry. and i dont want to buy pedals, i dont use effects. and i already have a metal zone for my crunch.

Your sound is bad because the Metal Zone is shit. Pickups will make very little difference.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?
