Learn to tap/play with your other hand.
It'll improve it vastly.

Also, exercise your arm with the broken wrist otherwise it'll lose alot of strength and stamina.

Is there any black people on UG?
I don't think a lot of black people play guitar anymore.

i think i have it worse.

my left ring finger was broken into a letter L during rugby, sideways as well.
to be honest i was shocked because it looked ****ing cool; i never had a broken bone before, so i was surprised.
i thought it was just displaced so i "kinda" straightened it, but it didn't take a genius to see that it wasn't fully straight.

after i got it checked - it was fractured - the doctor didn't bother straightening it and just gave me a minicast.

now the top joint of my finger is permanently pointing downward.
it really sucks, i can barely move the tip of my finger and it still currently hurts as i play guitar.

I'd take the time to study theory, and possible work on singing if you want.

haha wow what a collection of spills.
i was always a careful guy myself, even during my skateboarding years (swollen knee size of a grapefruit was my biggest injury).

well if you've been in casts for that much i suppose to you know how to spend your time being productive musically.

nope, usually it didnt affect my left wrist for extended periods. when my right wrist was broken, then i could pick after a week or so.

You've gotta do the opposite of Jeff Healey and play with your eyes.

Get a left handed guitar and tie a rag around the top, and learn to play with your right hand by just hammering and whatnot, and then when your other arm is healed you'll be able to play a double guitar like MAB
