what kind of pickups are best for classic rock/hard rock? high output,low output, or med output?

i personally like using low output pickups and getting all my distortion from the amp, there is no right or wrong way really though

neck = dimarzio paf pro

thats all classic/hard rock sound you'll need

i prefer high output pickups. look into the Duncan JB or Custom.

It's totally a personal preference. I'd recommend the Seymour Duncan Alnico II's in both positions. I'm pretty sure this is what Slash has been using for quite awhile.
