I do it two different ways.

Option #1:

|3----| Pinky
|0----|
|0----|
|2----| Middle Finger
|3----| Ring Finger

or Option #2

|3----| Pinky
|3----| Ring Finger
|0----|
|0----|
|2----| Pointer Finger
|3----| Middle Finger

I suggest learning option #2 if you are starting off, it allows your fingers to switch between chords easier (especially the "D" chord) ...'edited'

Hope that helps.

e|3 <- ring finger
B|0
G|0
D|0
A|2 <- index finger
E|3 <- middle finger

That's how I do it.

ring finger? thats a hard stretch, its easier to use your smllest finger for that

The last one sounds fuller? Im looking at these tabs and one tab has teh chord as the first one and another tab has the g chord as the 2nd onee

I find that if I try and hold down the little e string with my pinky my ring finger ends up muting the B or G string, as such is far easier to do with the ring finger, it's not much of a stretch for me. I find that a C chord is a much harder stretch.

Granted...I've been playing guitar for a whole 4 days now....

I play it like
|-3--|pinky
|-3--|ring
|-0--|
|-0--|
|-x--|block this one with middle finger
|-3--| middle

its really easy to get from that to a Dsus and a Cadd9...it also sounds a lot prettier than the normal g chord.

|3----| Pinky
|0----|
|0----|
|2----| Middle Finger
|3----| Ring Finger which is easy btw. But your way is great!
