So I've bin a metal head for a long while now, but lately I've bin listening to a lot of RHCP, and more relaxing, laid back music, I went to go try and learn some of RHCP's stuff, its really easy to a point then I seem to loose it. It's hard for me to go from a metal background to RHCP, but is there any way of making it easier to learn or just keep practicing?

Thanks in advance

from what i can tell your problem is that your trying to get your head around chords that aren't power chords? just sit down and learn X7's and X9's and other chords that feature in there stuff, it'll make it easier to just pick up a tab and sight-read it.

Although i guess the OP will have to get used to reading them if he's going to buy a bugera..
