I was wondering if it is oke to keep practicing if your hands and lower arms are still drained from the day before.
I know that if you do weight training, you will need to let your muscles have their proper rest before you can work out again. Does the same apply for playing the guitar?
With lifting you do it every other day for that once muscle group. With guitar, well play the next day. You gotta get past that barrier some day.
I think the real difference is that with heavier wheight training you are performing an anearobic exercise and playing guitar is more of an aerobic exercise.
My question is:
Is it oké to exhaust your hands (particularly the left hand) one day, by playing intensively for a rather long period of time. And keep on playing the next day without allowing your muscles some rest.
