Inspired by the Fight Club thread I thought I would ask everyone what their favorite film is. Mine is The Godfather (Godfather 1). It has everything you could ask for in a film, a great storyline, characters you believe in and care for, violence, great actors. It is just the perfect film.

It is a three-way tie between:

The Blues Brothers
A Knight's Tale
Finding Nemo

The Usual Suspects, Monty Python's Life of Brian/Holy Grail and The Shawshank Redemption also get an honourable mention.

The Shawshank Redemption.

Dogma.

And + 1 to This is England and Pulp Fiction.

Every Peter Jackson film I've seen so far.

Also gonna add Natural Born Killer's.

Edit: I'm also adding Trainspotting.

Super cereal

I guess the circumstances and events that happened round about the time I first watched it might bump it up a notch though.

Probably The Shawshank Redemption.

Since this is a film thread, could anyone suggest some decent films to watch?

I can never think of any off the top of my head, I've just watched A Clockwork Orange, Donnie Darko and Fight Club. All great films.

Unless you had an orgy consisting of 10 women there is no justification to liking King Kong.

I was watching This Is England a while ago and it made No F*cking Sense!

Aliens (the second movie in the quadrilogy) is the best movie ever! Who's with me? Also they got plageurised by COD4.

Has anyone had a Lord Of The Rings DVD marathon with the extended DVD's. I tried it once but only got half way through the second one and then I got tired. Also, another good film is called The Experiment or Das Experiment as it is in German. It's about a science experiment about people being in jail with the people in jail and the prison wardens forming two groups. The wardens then exploit their power over the inmates who have to escape.

little nicky!

napoleon dynamite, the wedding crashers, donnie darko.

and anything with adam sandler. besides little nicky, they are all the same film.

EDIT: i should probably mention that LOTR was pretty damn good as well
