So I need a good pedal for heavy rock/metal because the solo setting on my amp just doesn't have enough distortion

Is the Metal Muff the best pedal out there for metal, and can you get a good variety of tones and such with it?

Its a great metal pedal. Get the big one with the EQ.

it's the best one for the price, but if you are willing to shell out a good deal more cash, you could probably get something "better".

I love mine though and yeah get the big one.

Yeah I'm definitely getting the bigger one if I end up buying it.

Go for it.

I haven't played one, but they really do sound brilliant!

I also hear something to do with with the 'Russian' model is brilliant?

Please, correct me if I'm wrong!

If you have a tube amp, you might just need an OD to push it. Other than that, I've heard mixed reviews. It's kind of a love/hate thing

meh the metal muff is a pretty different sound compared to what you would get with an OD, I run my MM into a tube amp and it sounds amazing.
