Hey, I was wondering if anyone here plays or have played a Carvin Guitar? The custom shop SH575 looks perfect for me, and the fact that I can build it to exactly my specifications is amazing, but unfortunately theres no where that i can really play one of these guitars. Just wondering if anyone has played one and what their opinion is on them.

The only carvin I've really played was one of the Bolt-T's. Going from that guitar, I'd say a carvin would be a fantastic custom instrument.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

I've personally played the California Carved Top. Very very close to a PRS McCarty. I like Carvin's guitars. I have also played the DC series as well. Great buy IMO.
