Okay, so I'm using a 25.5 inch scale for the guitar I'm making, and after looking at the fret calculater on stewmac, I'm being told to place my bridge "25.562" (±0.030") from nut to center of treble-side post. Mount bass-side post 1/16"-1/8" further from the nut"
that's all fine and dandy, but how the hell am I supposed to figure out 25.562 inches? That's far too intricate.
So what I'm asking is, can I just place it 25.5 inches?
Or does those tiny numbers make a huge difference?

you could easily do 25.55 that way its within the 0.030 inches

it's just 1/16" more than 25 1/2"... it's 25 9/16"

little math, shall we?

1/16 = .0625
1/8= .125
3/16=.1875
1/4=.25
5/16=.3125
3/8=.375
7/16=.4375
1/2=.5
9/16=.5625 (the golden number)
5/8=.625
11/16=.6875
3/4=.75
13/16=.8125
7/8=.875
15/16=.9375
1=1

if you need anything in between, wood shouldn't have to be more accurate than 1/64" so...

1/64=.0156
and
1//32=.0312

sorry... machinist by trade... i know a lot of decimal equivalents and metric conversions...
