I want something to play around on, and possibly give me some idea of what effects I would really use the most.

I want something SS, ~50W, not too heavy, and get a good sound with my Epi Casino and SG.

I currently have a cube. I was thinking maybe a Crate Flexwave, or Fender Frontman.

Like I said, just to upgrade from my Cube, and just to play around on, nothing serious.

preferably ~$300.

oh yeah, NO AMP MODELS.
any suggestions?

Save up more money. The cube is better than the crate and frontman.

SS has nothing to do with it, the fact is you make WAY to many threads, and it seems alot like trolling. Just go and try out some amps, buy something already!!!

Save up. nothing for 300 that is going to be better than you cube. Unless you wait until a sale and pick up a palomino. 280, excellent deal.

yea man, you're not gonna get too many awesome deals for that much....

using that lil modeler on a nicer amp is a bad idea....it's not a great modeler, just a starter one...

save up for a Roland Jazz Chorus and be done with it all
