Anyone tried this, and does it work? I've heard EVH used to do it, and Buckethead has it on the 'new' les paul he's used at the last couple of shows

Thanks

Get him into blues. Lyrical depth-not so much. But it is groovy and it is black people's music so if he doesn't enjoy then he is not a true black person.

Yeah, i read that works. Apparently eddie did it at a luthier shop before he got really big. Once, they dipped it in and the pickup shriveled up and died though, so i guess there is also a risk.

Yeah it does work but you can't do it with all pickups. use the search bar to find threads on doing this.

that would do absolutely nothing... lol the point is so get the wax to soak into the coils. and when it hardens it holds the coils in place, which greatly minimized microphonic feedback.

check out my sig :P
