My little brother thats 6 decided to play with my guitar and he took 100 grit sandpaper and sanded the finish... I don't know what to do to get the finish back to its original state.
Help me.

if it's just scuffed, you can use: 400 grit, 600 grit, rubbing compound, then polishing compound; to get rid of the scratches.

if he cut all the way through the finish, you're hosed.

hope to dear god (for your, the guitar, and especially his) sake that it didnt wear down through the finish. if it did, you can aways work around it somehow (for a body mod)

what syk said,
but if it's all the way through to the wood that's not going to work.

but the upside is, you may now have a chance to make a "relic" finish?
people pay good money for guitars that look like theyv'e already been on the road, covered in stickers, soaked in beer, chewed by a poodle and been exposed to smoke.

like kirk hammet's esp, that already has "kirk's guitar" in label maker already on it.
and if you bought it, then it's not kirk's guitar, it's your guitar....

yeah..

never under estimate a good punch to the back of the head.
it looks funny when you see someone get punched in the back of the head, the initial facial expression as absolutely priceless.
like "ugghhh, what the **** was thaaaattt?"

and even better so if the person has glasses, because they fall off forwards, then after the person re-gains themselves they still stagger around aimlessly looking for their glasses.

I'd leave it, sounds like more effort than its worth to fix it.

just my thoughts...
