Im self taught, so a while back, I decided to kinda start from scratch, learn theory, how to read and stuff. I got the three Hal Leonard Guitar Method books. They seem to be suiting me well, although it loses me sometimes, and they are unbelieveably easy (the only hard part is the theory) Anybody have any opinion on these books? Any better books you would recommend? Thanks

they're good books. i like mel bay books better because there's an equal ammount of chords and progression as riffs in the selected songs. i think i would have been better off if i started with the mel bay books.

but as long as you get there. thats all that matters.
Why you reading this?
