I own a Fender Princeston 650 amp and I could never really understand what are these for, can someone walk me through it? I'm also looking into getting recording gear, would any of them be any useful or should I just mic the amp with a SM57?

Its a serial effects loop by the sounds of it. It allows you to have the preamp signal passed through some effects before hitting the amplifier section.

Which one does this? Also, if I run a cable from preamp out to a unit like M Audio Fast Track, would that work?

It's the FX loop - not that you need it because the amp is a modeller and has built in FX lol

For the best tingle, use Original Source mint. That shit feels amazing on your balls.

I guess you could use the preamp out into the Fast track for recording.

It's the same thing as effects send and return on lots of other amps, just named different.
