Hallo UG!

I have a Indie IAS 620, an ES-335 model. A beautiful guitar but they have butt-ugly steel fingerhead-like volume/tone knobs. I want to replace them with black knobs like the ones on a Gibson ES-335 but I don't know how. I can't pull them off or un-screw them. Can someone help me?
Gear:
Fender CP Baja Telecaster (vintage blonde)
Fender Blues Deluxe (tweed)

you can usually pull them off. metal knobs sometimes have a tiny allen bolt holding them on, you'd have to undo this. you'll probably find its a non-grooved shaft on the pot too, so for conventional push on knobs you'd possibly need new pots
Get off this damn forum and play your damn guitar.

This is essentially your answer. The knobs I believe you're looking for can be found here. Those are the ones on the ES335. The same site carries many knobs, including speed knobs, so you might want those. I really like the chrome-topped and labeled ones here.
Sincerely, Chad.
