I don`t listen to metal much but I think these should be in it.

Herman Li, only because his speed
Kirk Hammet
John 5
Van Halen, but that`s not really metal is it?
Perhaps Buckethead
And because RATM and Audioslave have some sort of metal song I would say
Tom Morello,

But I don`t know many Metal bands. That one from Bullets for My Valentine is pretty good I guess
#3
for me hmm...

Chuck Schuldiner
Kirk Hammett
Marty Friedman
Dave Mustaine
Kerry King
Alexi Laiho
Jari Mäenpää
Chris Broderick
Mille Petrozza
James Hetfield :P

Yea Dimebag should definitely be somewhere on the top 10, so should Randy Roads, and Tony Iommi, but I don't see any. I also forgot to add BucketHead. He'd be in like 4 or 5. And if Eddie Van Halen was Metal, I'd put him as 1st but he's Classic Rock.
