So I was playing and then my amp went out, it was the setting I always had it.
I could hear a tiny noise if I turned it up full, a bit louder on overdrive.

Is there anything I can do?
Will give info on demand.

It still gives out sound but only when I turn the knob to 10/11. It's really quiet.

edit: works now, must have been electronics.

Crap, I wanted a new amp.

A broken transistor amp is a lot harder to fix than a tube amp...

Realisation is always the first step
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.

Check the fuse in the back of the amp...might have went pop.

But I would HIGHLY recommend, on behalf of the rest of UG....please find a new amp. Your tone will thank you

Chalk it up to experience with bad amps (we all have them), cut your losses and start again with something good.

Smell the back of it and see if it smells like burnt electronics.. If it does then it will probally cost you more to fix it then its worth...

People come to me all the time with stuff and honestly if the amp isnt worth a good chunk of change its usually not worth it. Just an hour of work is $60 bucks and thats not including parts or how many more hours it might take to fix it...

Just a tip...

just take the thing to be be checked out, (assuming its cheap to do so) a guitar tech at a shop or sumin would be able to help you much better than us, and you much less likely to be bombardarded with "pft its just crap"
