so im gonna borrow my friends mac for a bit, and i was wondering is it possible to import MIDI tracks of songs i have created into it, and substitute the original sounds i made to make them sound more "real" in Garageband

thanks in advance

Yes, I use a mac at school with garageband, and all I had to do was drag and drop the midi file into it, and it even autoassigned instruments.

If it's General MIDI it can do that, which is probably the case if you're using guitar pro or something.

i have such an easy time making songs on guitar pro but the sound is ****ty MIDI, so I always thought about transferring it to Garageband.
