Try a live recording. When you did the drums you also over compressed them.

Live recording? What for? Yeah it wasn't compressed. We recorded the drums in an open auditorium without a drum cage.

I'm not sure what it is then. Something is wrong with how you are pitching the microphones. Move them around more and try to get a better sound from them. You might want to try a drum cage or a smaller room.

Guitar on the right sounds absolutely horrendous. Far too much gain and treble. The drums also sound like cardboard boxes, and the vocals are too distorted. I can't hear any bass so I can't comment on that. For a demo though, it's not bad. I've heard worse recordings come out of proper studios.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?

Aboutttt that, it was recorded in a 20ftx10ftx room with a high ceiling and around 50 large cardboard boxes. I hate the sound too. But nothing the amp did changed anything. The day before while tracking guitar one (left) the same amp sounded equal to the left. It was recorded in a small hallway with a better microphone.

But thanks for the comments. Everything I needed to hear was brought up. 8 hours. $500 dollars of cheap equipment = ok demo? =D I'm happy.

turn down the vocal track a bit they're overpowering most of the music. It's needs to blend, but still have it "leading" in a way.
