Hey Guys,

yet another amp issue in the quest to find my perfect amp

Whats everyones oppinions on Ibanez amps, specifically this

http://www.lifeismusic.co.uk/guitar/Ibanez-TBX150R---150W-Guitar-A-5848.aspx

The TBX150R - Its going to be used for band practice and gigging mostly

Ive had a listen to it and it sounds great form the price, has great reviews, just have to try one out which is diffeicult as there arent any in my local music shop.

Its going to be used for alot of different things, mainly post hardcore, metal and general rock. I may run it through an effects pedal, depends how i feel about the tone.

Sound quality is the most important thing

Thanks again

By the way a bit of extra info

Ive looked at the 65 watt which would probably be fine for me

however apparently it has quite bad tone and sound quality...

so ive got on to looking at that

You definitely don't need 150 watts. Stick with something a little smaller. Maybe a tube combo at 40 watts? That will be plenty loud. 150 is hearing damage.

You should probably mug John Frusciante or Ritchie Blackmore. They're small guys, we could take 'em.

Just look out for that other guy in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Will Farrel. He's a tall mofo, got a long reach.
