hey again guys.
the other day i saw the VOX AD50VT and my heart was set on it. i have a budget of around £200, and so was delighted to see that it fit right into my budget from this site http://www.guitar.co.uk/vox/665-vox_ad50vt_electric_guitar_amp .
however, tonight i see that the AD50VT-XL is on sale at another website for only £10 more that the AD50VT.
EDIT: here is the site from which i saw the XL http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/page/shop/flypage/product_id/31795

My question is, which is better...and thus which is better value for money?

i'm intending to get a new amp by the end of the week

thanks again

to be honest it varies. usually hard rock/heavy blues. not anything drastically 'heavy'. i suppose it's mostly be 1970's style hard rock and prog rock.
so even thought the XL has an extra speaker, the AD50VT is still likely to be better?

Yes, it probably will be.

If you need a really flexible amp that can go from jazz tones to early thrash tones, and everything in between, and you don't want to spend a ton of cash, the AD series works very well.

The AD50 is loud enough to gig with, and is built well. The best parts about it are it's flexibility and the built in effects.

thanks a lot everyone. seems to be that the original ad50vt is the best for me to go for
