Recently my GAX75 Ibanez has not been sounding correct. I am trying my best to figure out the solution but can't quite word it right. The problem is that when I play the high B or E and press down on the first fret or two it produces a plinking kind of sound that is sharp and does nothing for the ears if you know what I mean. I checked the bridge and nut nothing seemed to work anyone else have similar problems and if so what is the best solution?

fret buzz probably? or intonation?
Ibanez RG321MH (Air Classic/Tone Zone)
Fernandes Telecaster (Twang King/stock bridge pickup)
Blackstar HT-20 (Scumback 55 speaker/ Tung Sol tubes)
TC Electronic Nova Repeater
Lava Cables Clear Connect, Soar and Mini ELC

yes only the first and second frets on the B and E string I went and bought new strings but it didn't fix it at all

raise the action a bit and see if that solves it. If it doesn't then you likely have a raised fret, taking it to a tech for a fret dress will sort that.
