have you ever had it where you love a band, then you gradually start to hate them? post them here, and the reason why. (if there is one)

for me it would have to be the red hot chili peppers because i got so freaking sick of hearing dani california, snow and tell me baby on the radio, i just cant stand the entire band now! damn radio.

what about you guys?

oh, and no flaming, just be honest.

N*SYNC

...

Second grade me sucked...
Blindfolds aside I'd probably still close my eyes

And try to feel a trembling fetal life inside
that shotgun barrel that's about to make me bleed

Like an ulcer in the stomach of the beast

Atreyu, maybe. I still listen to their older stuff now and then but I can't stand their new stuff. I guess I grew out of most metalcore actually.

Green day for me as well. But everynow and then, i might pull out Dookie and give some of the songs a listen.

Music isn't the Olympics. It's not about showing other people what you can do with a piece of wood in your hands that has strings on, it's about making sounds that are good.

Green Day when I was like 11 I thought they were rock and then I heard Aerosmith when I was 12 and it blew hose pop punk ass clowns out of the water

Also Nirvana I realised that the only reoson I "liked" them was that everyone else had told me they were awesome and upon 1, hearing that gash Smells like teen spirit 1324596324 times and noticing their other songs were rubbish I ceased to like them

Godsmack....I still listen to one or two songs occasionally though....

Got a question about Baritone guitars? Feel free to PM me.

Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar. If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.

YES. I cannot stand them anymore. I can't listen to any more radio stations that play their songs, that's how much I hate them now. I thought they were awesome back in the day though.

Cheer up. I still have a soft spot for Backstreet Boys. We all went through that phase, and now whenever I hear them I'm reminded of my childhood.

People keep asking us where Paul is. That's a really funny question. See, if Paul was still in the band then we wouldn't have a new fucking record. That's why Paul isn't in the band anymore. (by Maynard James Keenan)
