hello all

I've been going over some example questions about transcribing and i'm not too sure on this one

The original key is C major and the chords used are chords Cmajor, Eminor and Dminor.

The question asks to transribes it to D minor, i know D minor is the relitive minor of F major. so if i was writing this in notation would i write them 3 steps up?

C to F is 5 semitones...

In this case, its best to think that its going from C major to F major. This is alot less confusing than C major to D minor.

so the chords would be F major , Aminor and G minor after transposing?
