I've played bass for 4 years and have decided I want a guitar to expand my musical skills. However, I do not want to spend very much... I've come down to the SX SST with a natural ash body.

I've heard that the SX guitars are a much higher quality guitar than any Squier (which brought me to them) Now, would this strat copy be decent for just improvising?
