I need some help with the drum fills on rock band. I can't get anything that sounds good or even goes with the song. Is there anything I can do to improve this and also could you maybe tell me some of things that you do that sound good?

Um... get better rhythm?
I just kind of imagine it in my head before it comes, which is basically all improv is.

If I don't remember how the song goes, I just slam on the snare as fast as I can untill it is over.
