I can buy either a Boss AC-2 or an AC-3 on for $80 (Peferable the AC-3 because it has Reverb). Anyway, I was wondering if its any good? Obviously I would be better off just buying an acoustic guitar but its not really practical because most songs I paly have an acoustic verse which leads right into a chorus that has distortion. I want this pedal for that reason but I dont want to get it if it doesnt give a good acoustic sound.

Does anyone have this pedal or used it and can give me some insight on it?

Thanks.

Unless your covering songs live why not just use the cleans from your guitar?

Thats whats I've been doing but as corny as it sounds I just dont like how the clean sounds when Im playing as compared to an actual acoustic. =/

It's not THAT great. Acoustic simulators don't have any dynamics to them, which is one of my main turn offs. And the effects sounds really corny.

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate the acoustic sound it can produce?
