ok well as i posted earlier i have a guitar in mind but i need a back up. so i want to know wat is a good guitar to buy an (exact model not just a name would be nice. ) that in the price range around 600. im trying not to spend to to much but ill strecth if i have to. preferences are active pickus. emg 81/85 would be great but it doesnt have tp be that. um no floyd rose. so yea i want a guitar that i can pay a decent price but still get a really nice guitar. i particulary like to make sure it has a good neck so keep that in mind. like jakcosn necks are really good and i heard ibanez necks are fast.

I can't really tell you about active pickups because most guitars don't come with them pre-installed, so you could probably widen your range (and maybe get a better guitar overall) if you were willing to drop them in yourself, but check out some of the ESPs, they're pretty good metal guitars.
