Ok.
so im trying to compile a list of techniques people use to combat stress, things that calm people down etc. for my local mag im writing. Im a senior high student and im starting to feel the pressure so are allot of people around me. So for my next issue which comes out during the school holidays i wanted to get people ready for the next semester, especially the grade 12s like myself. whose whole future is going to be determined by their exams.

So, please, anything that you do (besides wanking, coming on UG, having a few cones or boning your boyfriend/girlfriend) that help you deal with stress

no, im kidding

im bad with stress too and im under a lot of it at the moment. unfortunately, i cant really give any real advice - i normally deal with it by wanking or boning my girlfriend.

Listening and or playing music. Playing or watching sport, sleeping. I don't know if the school would let you put it down but drugs/alcohol/cigarettes.

stress is caused by the body making excess adrenaline
to stop the body making it so fast..

breath IN continuously for 3 seconds
then breath OUT continuously for 3 seconds
then HOLD your breath for 3 seconds..

works for me


another technique i havent personally used (my history teacher told me this one) is to, in the exam, take your shoes off. If you allow your feet to be able to be free and wiggle around you feel more relaxed, apparently.

here's a good one. Clench different muscles in your body as hard as you can for 10 seconds then let them relax, then repeat for different muscles. it's to feel what it's like to be stressed out and then relaxed.
