Help me identify the V guitar in this picture.
It looks unusual, and wouldn't mind knowing what it is.
Thanks for the help.

I don't recognize the body, but the inlays make me think ESP. Maybe a custom shop?
Heads will roll. Throats will be slit. Blood will flow like springs of water.

The small cutaway is something I've never seen on a V shape before.

It could be a dean as both the inlays and the inner V look dean-ish, or it could be an ESP as mentioned, but I'm no expert.

I think it's a custom ESP, look at the 12th fret inlay, it's a block and I THINK the E and a bit of the S is showing.

My guess is it's a custom DV8 with a cutaway, different pups, and a FR.

I never saw the 12th fret!

Thanks to everyone else who posted.

The LTD V-500 has the same bevel thing in between the horns, where the strings end. Also old Ibanez Pro Line RR style Vs had that type of cutaway, the models were PR1550 and PR1660

It's a modded standard V, or a custom shop. I'm leaning towards modded V.

Yeah unedited pic would help... It's probably customized as theres a zebra in the bridge and a bluck humbucker in the neck.

It appears that there is a female trying to disguise herself as a zebra holding it, too.

prob esp v series cutom shop. a)the only company that i know that has bevels on the inside part of the v is esp b)arrow head inlays are kind common on some esp guitars c)the block inlay does kinda show the e and the s if you look closely

only thing against it is the huge ass cutaway, which points to a custom since im pretty sure esp doesnt do that on their standars, they do slight cutaways but never that deep from what ive seen. and also the position of the tone and volume controls since the v series ive seen have them in a somewhat curved line (or obtuse angle if i say so myself) whil;e this is all in a line

^Not my pic.

Thanks for the replies. I like the cutaway on the V. One day I'll have to get something similar.

My friend has an LTD F-400 that has the same finish, inlays, control setup, and hardware as that guitar. I'm guessing it's an LTD. Made by ESP of course, which many people have suggested.

Interesting. Thanks.

If it's an expensive LTD, why the dean and crap amp (although only suggested), or if it's a lower priced LTD (although that can cost a bit higher up, right?), that might explain it.
