i know this is a guitar forum, but this is the PIT. and there must be at least a couple drummers here on UG, so i'm building a electric replica of my kit, but i dont have too much money to spend on electric drums, i was wondering if i could make a rack out of pvc pipes, get a bunch of practice pads and make my own trigger to them with piezo transducers. so my questions are

1. what is better a trigger with a piezo transducer or a ddrum acoustic trigger??
2. if i was to use ddrum trigger can i use a tom/snare trigger on my bass drum??
3. have you or know anyone that have made a rack out of pvc pipes??

if it's DIY, then why are you asking for help?

then it becomes of a DIYWALHFTP.

(do it yourself with a little help from the pit.)

If you are rowing down the road in your canoe and your wagon wheel falls off. How many pancakes does it take to make a doghouse?

Green, because a vest has no sleeves.

Can't we all just get a bong?

Well unfortunately, I can't help you.
