Alright, I recently fell in love with the heavy sounds of C standard tuning, but I would be very limited in the songs I would be able to play. Some of DT is C standard, all of Arch Enemy is, and some In Flames. These three bands are all I know of at the moment, so it would primarily be for self written songs. I recently traded my guitar that didnt have a Trem for a guitar with a trem, so now I have this issue.

The guitar is set up for E standard.....but I want it in C. Should I go and get it professionally set up at a shop? Or should I do it myself and learn? I need to buy new strings, I know I'll need to readjust the tension in the springs of the trem, but I dont know if there's anything else I should know.

Help please!! Thanks

Oh damn, I forgot about intonating

I have no idea how to do that on a trem, so I'm just gonna go get it set up, how much should this cost?
